Destined Journey Cruise Vlog

Beginning a new journey or chapter is difficult, regardless of choosing it on your own, or having been forced unwillingly into a completely new direction. Familiar is always well received, and so simple to digest. Should we ever desire the painless, effortless path? Easy is easy, but is it the best? Or will our disappointments lead us down a brand new road to a destination that far exceeds the last?

I love the quote, “New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings” because it is so completely accurate. I have come to understand that reality is simply our perception of our experiences. How we perceive, is what is real to us. This is why the same experience can have profoundly different effects on everyone. I love inspiring quotes because often they are someone’s perspective that I haven’t yet considered. A new perspective, especially of something that has been deeply engrained for a period of time, can change EVERYTHING. Sounds extreme. I know. But isn’t it? If you are convinced of something your entire life, what would ever change that reality aside from a new perspective (that you buy into of course)?

However, for months I have had a desire that quietly tugged at my heart to Vlog and create youtube videos about travel and cruising. My reality convinced me to ignore those tugs because I would never pursue something so ridiculous. Certainly grown ups don’t become YouTubers to make a living. Of course I know it’s possible, but only for a choice few. I am quite optimistic, but not stupid. I recognize that a very small percentage monetize to a level of respectable income. Could I ever reap enough to cover a bill, or at the least a new outfit? How will I create enough quality content that stands out from everyone else doing the exact same thing? The simple answer is, I have no idea……… absolutely no clue. What I do have is faith, so let’s see where that takes me.

Here I am, beginning a new journey. One that will lead me to wherever it does. This time, I won’t convince myself that I know what the future holds, because I know nothing at all, except for what I can do right at this moment. I can plan for tomorrow, but that does not guarantee me a starring role in the adventure I project for my life.

This is the start of the journey I am leaving up to my creator to determine. The dawn of my Destined Journey, that I cannot wait to experience as I have come to recognize that, “new beginnings are often disguised as painful endings“.
